PMI RMP Certification

The PMI Risk Management Professional is one of PMI's Specialized Certifications on the area of Project Risk Management. The following are the chapters that will help us in our quest towards the PMI Risk Management Professional Certification.

The PMBOK Guide 4th edition was used as the base for all the study material in this blog. In the 5th edition the PMBOK introduced some new processes and knowledge area but the Risk Management knowledge area was left untouched. So, almost all these articles are valid exactly as they are for the PMI RMP Exam now.

Also, I will be placing links to articles from the PMP Certification Study Guide series as and when required to point you to further study material reg. the various Project Management topics. The Risk Management Professional exam covers the risk aspect of almost every area of Project Management. So, the actual syllabus is only a subset of the PMBOK Guide but it covers almost everything. So, it would be a good idea to read the PMBOK guide or quickly scan through the "Fast Forward PMP Exam Preparation" to quickly cover all the PMBOK Guides contents so that you have a good base to cover the RMP Exam syllabus

Hope you find it useful...
